FRIENDS OF
MEDINA COUNTY HOME
Friends of Medina County Home is a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Medina County Home and it's residents through donations, volunteering, and advocacy.
DONATE FUNDS
Through your financial generosity, Friends of Medina County Home provide for those items and activities not covered in the normal operating budget.
That includes such things as birthday gifts, coffee supplies, puzzles, and games. It also provides for events such as a Christmas dinner, A summer celebration, and a trip to the Medina County Fair!
DONATE ITEMS
Friends of Medina County Home also donate needed items from the county home's wish list. This includes personal care items such as mouthwash and deoderant as well as individual items like a bedside lamp or alarm clock.
VOLUNTEER
Friends of Medina County Home can show their love and support of the residents of the home through volunteering. Volunteer opportunities include Bingo, reading, participation in hikes, or helping with an event!
ADVOCATE
At one time, all eighty-eight counties in Ohio supported and operated County Homes for their residents in need. Today we are one of only eight county homes that continue to operate as originally intended.
The residents of Medina County continue to proudly and generously support The Medina County Home through a relatively small tax levy which provides for the operation of the Home and the basic needs of it's residents.
Friends of Medina County Home help spread the word and advocate for the continued support of this valuable and historical resource!
